Services
I work across the engineering and business sides of aggregates, rail, and industrial land projects. Most clients come with a specific question. My job is to get them to a clear answer and a plan that holds up.
Questions clients bring me
Can this site be permitted, and how long will it take?
Is the rock on this property worth developing?
Is this acquisition worth pursuing?
Can this property be served by rail?
When stamped or sealed documents are required, I coordinate with licensed professionals.
How I work
Most work is scoped at a fixed fee and delivered on a schedule we agree on at the start.
I keep clients informed as the work progresses and bring them in at the decision points along the way.
Deliverables are concise written reports, spreadsheet models, and presentation-ready summaries.
About
I bring 21 years of experience in mining, natural resources, and development, including the last nine in Colorado working on aggregate operations, rail-served sites, and industrial land.
Since 2017 I have led operations and engineering at Rocky Mountain Industrials, where I now serve as Vice President of Engineering. That work covers quarry permit modifications, product sales analyses spanning pricing, haul rates, and product specifications, aggregate sourcing and delivered-cost analysis, rail-served industrial development, and technical evaluation of acquisition targets.
Before that, I managed $280 million in natural gas midstream assets at Energy Corporation of America and spent nine years at Arch Coal in engineering, production, and process improvement roles.

I would be glad to talk it through and discuss scope and approach before any engagement.
